I recently purchased the handle free (and non-leak proof) Aladdin mug that was made from 100% recycled material but was very disappointed. I tried this mug with the hopes that the seal top would be leak free.
The handle is comfortable and is placed high enough that doesn't impede my car cup holder. Odd part is that it is sized a bit too small to fit perfectly in the cup holder but a bit too big to fit in the Toyota rubber cup holder insert for smaller cups.
The lid screws on and off easily and makes a complete seal. The lid even can successfully stop leaks for both right handed and left handed holders depending on how tight you screw it on. The seal top firmly pops into the open or closed position and doesn't seem to leak a bit.
Bad news: this mug, like my other Aladdin mug, doesn't hold heat well at all. I am a slow coffee/tea drinker and have to microwave the mug after an hour. For most this probably isn't an issue. The mug warms with hot...Read more

Originally purchased this mug at REI and loved it. Dropped it on the ice though and it snapped the handle off also ruining the outer shell. Couldn't find it anywhere else so I checked amazon, found it and purchased two. It's spill proof, a nice size and diswasher safe. Still love it and would definitely recommend this item.
