Aladdin 16-Ounce Hybrid Tumbler, Seal

I bought this to replace my previous Aladdin tumbler after it took a tumble off of the top of the fridge and broke a part of the top of the cup. I like this tumbler quite a bit. The only thing that I dislike is the fact that it's not dishwasher safe. Now, I've run it through ours a couple of times, but after doing so, the metal part on the bottom is no longer held firmly to the tumbler. It stays on, it's just not as "on" as it should be.

Several good and bad things here.

1. I got this at Meijer, not on Amazon...but I wish I had gotten it on Amazon so I could read the f/b from others. Y'all are smarter than myself already.

The Good:
Easy to clean - the flip top design means you can actually get it clean by hand washing it.
Looks cool.

The Bad:
Leaks. LEAKS! So there's no rubberization on the flip top that fits in the drinking hole area. So if you tip it over or put it in a bag or something and expect it will be tightly sealed... you'll be damp and sad.

Flip top doesn't lie flat. Yes, you'll sometimes get coffee on the bridge of your nose. But seriously - people "hurting" the bridge of your nose drinking from this cup? Y'all need to get a grip on your drinking skills. Flip top, bring to mouth, tilt gently. Practice makes perfect. Extra tilt needed to get to the bottom? Also tilt head - not just cup. Practice makes perfect.

I really don't like this cup. When you flip the cap back it sticks up so far that when I take a drink it hits my nose. Not exactly comfortable. I also don't like that it's not dishwasher safe.
