Lovely design, keeps hot drinks hot & cold drink cold. However, the manufacturer's website indicates that they are made in Germany. When I received the package, there was a big MADE IN CHINA sticker on the bottom of the thermos. Booooo Alfi.

I have two Alfi's and have given them as gifts as well. They work well keeping the beverages at temp. HOWEVER, customer service for is just horrific. Stoppers eventually need to be replaced and if you think spending $60 for a thermos is bad, wait till you try to find a replacement stopper. Just not worth it, especially if they're now being made in China. At least the ones I purchased were made in Germany.
