I own both the Gray Wolf and Black Bear version of this mug. Honestly, I don't care for the garish animal artwork on these mugs, but that is not why I bought them. I bought them because they are ceramic and hold 16 oz. I don't like plastic mugs because the safety of the plastic made overseas is questionable. And I don't like the metal mugs because it doesn't wash well in the dishwasher. Ceramic is the perfect solution and also more environmentally friendly than metal or plastic. Since it's ceramic it's a little heavier than a plastic or metal mug. I brew two k-cups every morning into this mug, and there's plenty of room for cream. My only complaint is that this mug doesn't have good thermal insulation on the outside, so it will be somewhat hot if you have hot liquid inside (although not too hot that you can't hold it). The tapered bottom means I can fit this in my cup holders, but in my car I cannot fit both mugs at the same time because of the handle.

This is a very nice mug. It is well made and has nice detail on it. It is stoneware which gives it nice weight. Great for travel.
