Avantro 14-Ounce Leakproof Commuter Mug, Cobalt Blue Metallic

This is a truly spill-free mug. I loop the handle over the strap of my purse and carry it to the car and into the office without ever getting any on me, my car or the office carpet. (If you push the lever down and don't drink all that you pour into the reservoir, it can drip. But, I haven't managed to do that yet...I just saw that it COULD happen.)

I liked it so well, I got one for my husband and he loves it, too. I love the stainless steel interior; a little efferdent, and you lose all the coffee or tea stains. And, the company really stands behind their mugs. My first mug had a defect and they sent me a replacement part. Then, I dropped the mug and broke the little lever and they sent me three, no charge. Excellent customer service!

Outstanding -- really leak proof and keeps liquids hot a long time. I have several of both sizes (they make a smaller 10 oz size.)

Caveats -- don't put the cup in the dishwasher, the surface film that gives the color will peel. (It says on some sites you can put it in the dishwasher.) You can put the top and the base -- both of which screw of in the dishwasher however.

Don't drop it on a hard surface. If it hits at the right angle, it will break the thermal seal and destroy its thermal capabilities.

One of the ones I order came already with the the thermal seal broken. The manufacturer happily replaced it without making return the original one and said just to keep the lid in case I needed a replacement. Which I did as I accidentally broke the lid on another one.

First of all, this cup does exactly what it says it does. It keep liquids warm for a long time. It is a little bigger than I pictured it and to me that takes away from the style. It's also pretty heavy and feels very well built. The bottom comes off for travel which is awesome. I buy alot of things on Amazon but my search for the perfect travel mug has been ongoing for some time. I've spent alot of money since I lost the perfect travel mug awhile back. This is not the perfect travel mug, but its the closet thing i've found so far. I would highly recomend it if you dont mind the slightly larger size. Cobalt Blue has sparkles too.
