This mug keeps beverages hot or cold for hours. It is easy to clean. One nice feature is the base. It will unscrew for use in a vehicle cup holder. When used on a flat surface, the base quickly screws on and provides additional stability. The top of the lid has the standard slide to cover the drinking slot. It is well made and used frequently. I have come back four hours later and the coffee is still very warm. It is a very well designed unit.

As an addendum to my original review I have two of these mugs and still use them everyday as if this date, June 8, 2010.
