I just bought this on Amazon. This is my second of these. Great container; it has kept morning coffee very warm in my car for seven hours on some cold Texas winter days. But, some time back, I had bouught the same mug but differently packaged by Chantal for Lance Armstrong's "Live Strong" cancer charity. That item included a stainless steel screw-on cap. The one that just arrived doesn't have that cap. Should it?

I've been looking for a travel mug that would fit in my backpack side pocket, and finally took the plunge on this one. Couldn't be happier. The screw lid on top means it really won't leak at all, and while I was a little worried about the feel of the rubbery-y edge detail for drinking, by the end of the first cup I didn't even notice it. As an added bonus, the styling is super sleek and uncluttered. But here's the part that won me over: last night I pre-warmed it with boiling water for a minute as an experiment while making tea, then filled with more just-boiled water. 12 hours later, it was a quite reasonable 126 degrees--definitely lukewarm, but still drinkable (my normal just-poured morning coffee was 160 degrees in comparison). So while I was initially skeptical about the 7 hour claim, I suspect it actually will hold true. I'll be buying another one for my husband soon!

Great mug! Does not leak at all. Like the way it looks and has a solid feel. Only problem is that it is too tall for a Kuerig coffee maker. you have to hold it at an angle to fill it. Otherwise great mug!
