Bought this mug for my wife, and she loved it since it looks great. However, as far as travel mug it is not ideal: lid does not fit in tightly, thus it will not prevent spills if cup is turned around.It will probably make an ok cup for your car. It is not enough to allow lucky owner to keep it in a bag while traveling on NY subway.
