Summary: Great bottle! 2010-06-06
Comment: This water bottle is awesome, there's not much to say about it, it is a water bottle. It is very easy to clean, and if your too busy, just toss it in the dishwasher. Both the autoseal cap and the bottle have "Dishwasher Safe" stamped on them(top-rack, of course). They are BPA free and when you press the autoseal button, it opens the bottle for you to drink and on the back of the top of the cap, there is an air inlet that allows air in so your drink is very smooth and nonstop. No water goes out of the air inlet, unless you force it out, of course. All in all, this is a real great, compact water bottle, fits in cup holders, and it is great for little children because it is impossible to spill, unless you do intentionally. There is no chemical taste at all, very crisp, and when you unscrew the cap, the opening is large enough to fit ice cubes.

Comment: Because I have and like the Contigo Double-Wall Plastic Travel Mug with Autoseal Lid I decided to order their Water Bottle for daily use. So far I'm just as pleased as I was with the other. Its a good size without being too bulky, the caribiner clip has been used a handful of times (usually clipped on to my purse strap in a rush). As for leaking it hasn't! The autoseal lids on their products really do work, if they didn't I would never toss it into my purse without hesitation. Add in that the bottle is BPA Free and for me there is nothing I would change. Also at the time of my review this item was included in Amazon's 4-for-3 promo which makes it an even better deal.

Comment: I love this water bottle. I throw it into bags and don't worry about it leaking. I have not experienced the moldy smell in the lid mentioned by other reviewers, but after reading, I make sure to dry it out completely before storing.

Comment: We have bought 4 of these so far. We use them at work, sports, at night. Durable and love the one-handed functionality. They tip over and don't leak water. They clean easily although the other reviews regarding the rubber gasket are correct (don't lose it or forget to install it in the lid!). The only issue we have with the Contigo is that it is very top heavy (the lid) and tends to tip over.
