Contigo 24-Ounce BPA Free Water Bottle with Autoseal Lid and Caribiner Clip, Blue

I love these for using with my kids because the bottle automatically is sealed if they are not actively pushing on the button to drink. With the pop top bottle they tend to put them down in the car with the lid popped "up" and then stuff gets everywhere. Kids from age 6 and up can work these on their own. Younger and they may have trouble holding down the button to drink.

We take these on plane trips. Take them empty through the security and then fill on the other side (or pour the drink they get on the plane into them).

Run through the dishwasher to clean. Love them.

Got this as a replacement for one i left at the gym. The seal works fine. Turn it upside down and shake it and nothing will come out. Good size, and has markers on the side denoting how much water you've consumed - handy for those who track/monitor. Not heavy, feels good in the hands. I personally don't use the clip as i store in a backpack, but the clip opens and closes easily and fits well. Button to open the mouth works easily and doesn't take a lot of strength at all.

The only issue (and it's not a major one) is that as you release the button to close the mouth, you'll sometimes get some spray/splashback of whatever liquid you have in there. Not a big deal if it's water, but if you have some colored liquid - may be an issue if you're wearing something nice ;) Also, i wonder if the top unit where the seal is is hard to clean. Would be hard to tell how clean the internal components are. As such, i gave a 4/5.

My mom gave my husband and I each one of these a few months ago- and we both wish we've had them for years! They fit in the cup holder in the car, don't leak, and are easy to use with one hand. We don't always take them hiking, because they are tall, but fit well in a side pocket on a backpack. I also have the contigo double walled coffee mug, and finally have put a stop to the coffee spills in the car. Contigo makes a great product!
