I really regret purchasing this mug. I love my other Contigo mugs and chose this one because it was the cheapest. I learned the hard way that it is the cheapest in price AND quality. First of all, it does nothing to keep your beverages hot. It is all plastic, so whatever you put in it is no longer hot after 20 minutes. Additionally, it is smaller than other Contigo mugs. Lastly, the lid cracked less than a week after I got it. Although it is still usable after the cracks, it is obviously not well made. When I contacted Contigo, they told me that I needed to return the mug to the place of purchase. Obviously this is not a company that stands behind its products. Luckily, Amazon was extremely helpful and refunded my purchase. Excellent customer service from Amazon, terrible customer service from Contigo.

Moldy Grossness.,

Does not leak, just as they claim.
However, it is very hard to clean thoroughly, as the lid doesn't come apart that I can tell. This causes a buildup of all kinds of nastiness in the lid that I couldn't get out without a ton of washing and scrubbing. And by then I was so grossed out that I just threw the whole thing away.

This travel mug by Contigo performs just as the manufacturer says it will - no spills, no leaks. What I didn't like about the mug is trying to clean the lid. After a couple of weeks, I began to notice a build up of rot around the seal that no matter how much cleaning I did, I could not get it completely removed. I'm sure if you wanted to invest 30 minutes cleaning the lid every week, the cup would be fine, but I'm not willing to invest that amount of time for a $15 cup; soon the maintenance will far outstrip the cost of simply replacing the cup. If Contigo redesigns the lid for easier cleaning, I'll up my rating.
