Keeps tea nice and hot!,

Santa put this item in my stocking this year, and I LOVE it. It's got a nice capacity (14 oz), it handles loose tea as well as tea bags, and it really does a great job at keeping the the liquid hot. It's got a very comfortable hand-feel -- the green part is slightly rubbery, so you don't feel like you'll lose your grip, or get burned. The top is very easy to drink out of.
I agree with the previous poster that it's very hard to gauge how hot the liquid is. And removing the tea infuser can be a little tricky at first because you have to remove the top of the mug, run cool water over the infuser, then turn it to remove it. But then you've got lovely hot tea for a good hour, and nice warm tea for an hour after that! I especially love it because I often make a cup of tea and then get busy on the computer and only get time for a sip before I get distracted and it cools down. Not with this thermal mug! It stays nice and hot.

COPCO Tea Thermal Disappointment,
October 28, 2010 Stacy Davis - See all my reviews

I want to like the COPCO Tea Thermal but I just cant, I gave it two chances and both have failed. Design, feel, the little basket, all good. What failed is the lining. The first one had a leak from the cup that slowly filled up the liner with tea. I returned it after a couple days when I noticed a murky liquid build up between the cup and outer shell. I just poured water into the replacement cup I received today and screwed the cap on only to have the inner cup and outer lining separate and come apart in my hand. There's no leak in this one and but it also appears there was almost no glue to hold the cup in the liner either. I am returning it tomorrow to get a refund. Again a real disappointment because I like the design, function and feel of this container. Maybe in the future when the liner defects have been fixed it might be a good product.

I have only used my mug a few times and am mostly impressed with it. The only complaint I have is that the tea I use does not stay contained in the infuser basket. A few of the pieces end up in my mug. Maybe it's the tea, I'm not sure. Overall I do think I will continue to use this and I would recommend it to friends.
