Product Description
How ingenious is this? No need to take the time to pour coffee into your travel mug anymore, this machine brews right into one or two stainless steel mugs. Brew, grab, and go. It even turns itself off after brewing is complete.

Perfect for preparing coffee at home before dashing out the door, this coffeemaker brews through the lids directly into either one or both of the 14-ounce travel mugs accompanying the machine. The stainless-steel mugs have rubber, nonslip grips, fit most vehicle cup holders, and are 6-3/4 inches high, with 2-5/8-inch-diameter rubber bottoms. Lids keep coffee hot in the mugs and are deeply indented and sloped toward the drink hole to contain spills. Both mugs and their lids are dishwasher-safe. The coffeemaker uses disposable paper filters (two included), automatically shuts off after the brewing process, and can also be used to heat water for tea, hot chocolate, and instant foods like oatmeal and soup. Made of gleaming black plastic, the coffeemaker measures 13 inches high, 5-1/4 inches wide, and 8-1/2 inches deep, and carries a three-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
Comment: Perfect if you only have one or two coffee drinkers in your household. We've had ours for about a year now without any problems. Put the grounds in fill with water and viola' two big cups of coffee with a little left over. No waste and very little fuss!

Comment: Have had for a couple of weeks. Liked the idea of a one or two cup coffee brewer. Makes decent coffee. My biggest gripe is that coffee keeps coming out (dripping) once you remove the cup. It makes a bit of a mess when you are in a hurry.

Summary: Great, convenient coffee maker for one! 2009-09-23
Comment: I've had my Two-to-Go coffee maker for five years now. I tend to brew one or two batches of coffee per day, and I have had no trouble with the on/off switch as some reviewers did. I also don't have problems with overflowing/uneven filling of coffee mugs, although I did have that happen when the machine was on an uneven surface.
I didn't know that Cuisinart recommended not putting the mugs in the dishwasher, so I used to do that all the time. Water gets inside (in the insulating layer) and leaks out if you do, but that was a minor inconvenience.
The tops stay on securely and don't leak unless the rubber o-ring is out of place. They can be a little difficult to put on though. Of course, I don't mind having to force them on because it makes me believe that the top is secure.
The simplicity of the machine also makes it really easy to clean.
Overall, I have been very pleased with the quality of the coffee brewed, and the machine pays for itself in a month of not going to a coffee shop. I definitely recommend owning this if you live by yourself. A whole pot of coffee is usually too much for one.

Comment: It brews much faster than my old coffee maker but the coffee does not taste any better than my old one made. The filter holder has a swing up handle which is convenient but rather fragile. The "insulated" cups get very hot when filled with coffee so I don't know how long the coffee will stay hot if you take it with you. I drink the coffee at home so it is used rather quickly so I don't care.

Comment: This is my third Cuisinart TTG-500. I like the product, speed and quality of the brewed coffee. They just don't last forever. I get about 2 1/2 years and they just start not-performing.
