this mug constantly leaks! my husband is not messy or accident-prone person, but this mug leaked on his dress shirts every time he used the mug. he is physically fit and he always tightened the lid extremely tight. however, spills would still occur through the area between the lid and the mug.

for the customized part, it was easy to tape photos onto a sheet of paper and then place the paper into the mug through the bottom. the slit is understandably narrow, so you can't overlap photos on your paper. when i hand wash this mug, the bottom lid doesn't allow liquid to leak in. i think the instructions indicate that this mug cannot be placed in the dishwasher.

great mug and great idea, but the seal is not good.
