Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Travel Mugs (Contigo 2 Pack Blue/Indigo and Green)

Comment: We already had one of these for my daughter for several years and then I bought two more recently for my sons. They are GREAT! It seals and does what they say. I can put ice and a drink in the container and there will still be ice left in it at the end of the day. No sweating! I'm sure they work for hot liquids too but I just haven't used them for that purpose. The auto-seal works nicely. You can order replacements through the Contigogo.com site if you drop or damage, but it's pretty sturdy. I hand wash these but the tops are top-rack safe.

Comment: These are the BEST travel hot beverage mugs. You can put hot coffee in, throw it in your bag, get to wherever you're going and your coffee will still be hot hours later and your bag will be dry. We've had contigo coffee mugs for the past 3 years - the only reason we're getting more is because our last ones were stolen. You will want to rinse the cups out as soon as you get a chance to keep the lid clean, but I find that a pipe cleaner works great for getting those hard to reach areas. These also work great for cold beverages - your ice cubes will last for hours (this is NOT an exaggeration). Great cups!!!!

Comment: Contigo Travel Mugs are just about perfect for long road trips. My wife bought us two of these mugs on a whim and we are both very pleased with them. Here are my observations:

+ These are well insulated, keeping my coffee hot and her water cold for many hours
+ Comfortable shape with well positioned control
+ Spill proof, has never leaked despite several good falls
+ Large capacity, holds a lot of liquid
+ Fits in cup holder

While they are a little pricey, they do work very well and are worth it if you spend a lot of time behind the wheel.

Comment: I like that this mug does not leak and keeps my coffee warm. I fill it up around 8:30am and my coffee is still hot when I take my last sip around 11:00am. However, the lid is soooo difficult to clean. There are too many nooks and crannies for my soy milk to leave residue. I have tried small brushes and folded paper towel corners to get in the crevices. If you do not clean it properly, a horrible mildew smell develops very quickly (within 48 hours). Once the mildew smell appears, the only way to clean it is by putting it in a container with rock salt and rubbing alcohol(and shaking it around).

As long as I spent 10 minutes in the breakroom to keep it clean, I like how it works. If they come out with a version that has a simple to clean lid, I will buy it in a second! :)
