I really like both the tumbler and the food jar very much. They're both very sturdy, built to high quality standards and they do what they were meant to very well. It's the absolute truth that these things hold in heat or cold for quite a while. With the tumbler for example, I poured coffee into it at 7:30am and it was still pretty warm well into the afternoon. The leak proof cover is a big plus as well. As for the food jar, same deal. I stuffed it with a good amount of hot stew and it was about as hot as it was coming out as it was going in, hours after the fact. The food jar is very secure and there's practically zero chance that you'll suffer any spillage. I love the collapsible spoon also and how it neatly fits into the inner cap. Last but not least, the dark blue finish is very easy on the eyes and eye catching as well. Don't be surprised if anyone stops you to ask where you got them from.

I bought this package due to the good reputation of Thermos. Before having them, I use traditional food container to bring lunch to company, although it says can keep food warm, normally at noon time it's barely warm in winter time.

The first day when I use Thermos, the soup is still hot at 12:30pm! It's amazing! On the other hand, it looks small but can contain quite a lot soup. The size is just half of the one I used to use, but the food size are equal. I like it very much.

The cup solved another problem for me: drinking water at mid-night while getting up to feed my baby. I used to use lock&lock but it cannot keep it warm throughout the night. I have to get up and pour into some hot water to make it drinkable, especially at the winter night. Now with Thermos, all I need to do is add drinkable warm water into it, and it will maintain it all night long. I'm pleased that the Thermos tumbler keeps coffee hot from 7:30am until after noon. The lid does not leak, so this performs as advertized. After filling & closing, I do a test shake over the sink. So far, so good. The main reason that I did buy this set was for the Thermos food jar. The microwaves in my office building are usually dirty & I do not use them. Having a hot serving of homemade soup is a welcome change from a cold lunch. Although the folding spoon is functional, I prefer a soup spoon. Both the tumbler & food jar fit in a KOKO insulated lunch bag. I DISLIKE THAT IT WAS MADE IN CHINA.
