The wife hated the taste of plastic and aluminum cups, she is happier with glass. So far she loves this cup. We were a little worried about the lid holding up but so far so good. Its been months since we purchased and it has survived many dish washer trips. Still seals, no leaks. Wouldn't recommend picking up by the lid its not a tight fit like normal travel mugs, but it is a leak proof seal.

I bought this mug to bring sailing. I really like using it. The anti-slip mat that comes with it is actually pretty useful. It's also really light.

The lid fits on really tight, and makes a great seal even if the glass is very full. I was worried that it might drip, but so far, it's been great.

The glass looks cool too. I like that it's transparent ... looks cool when you pour the milk into the coffee.

Good insulation, easy to clean, and no leaks at all.
Many of similar mugs I looked at had a lot of negative reviews due to leaky lids - I was concerned, but took the risk. I have no problems with this lid - the fit is snug (and I'm not a particularly careful or gentle person, either.) I'm really pleased with this purchase.
