It's like pulling teeth getting my daughter to drink water. Finally we discovered part of the problem is that every cup for lunch boxes are either straw-cups or Sippy style cups, both useless for a 1st or 2nd grader, because it takes forever to drink from them. These bottles are perfect. I was skeptical, figuring they would leak or be flimsy. They were neither. they do not leak at all in her lunch box--which I know she tosses and bangs around. They wash easy and the tray turned out to better than a gimmick; I filled them all up and there they are in the frig, one for each school day.
Much better than spending money on bottled water, that's for sure.

The water bottles are easy to clean and a great price for five of them.
Just be careful not to lay the bottles on its side because it has the
tends to leak.

I bought these as goody bag items for kindergartens. The bottles are very cute but small. Probably best used for lunch bags as other reviewers suggested.
