Nice looking product, okay performance,

I wanted a food jar that looks decent because I work in a professional office where I only have a half hour to eat and everyone goes to lunch in shifts & they race to the limited microwaves. I am pleased by the appearance of the jar, but I was a bit disappointed that the food was just warm. Based on the reviews here, I thought it may perform better than it did.
I preheated the jar metal around 7 am and had lunch around noon. The soup was not hot, just warm. I also had purchased a Mr. Lunch bento set and so I tried the jar again today and put the food jar into the Mr. Lunch metal shell. I made sure that the food was piping hot out of the microwave. The timing was about the same and I was happier with the temp...it was not piping hot, but sufficiently warm. I think the main problem is that a lot of heat comes off the top. The spork and extra container space are nice features, but I think a heavier duty top would be better to have instead.

The 20oz. food jar is a leaky mess.,

I bought the 20 oz. food jar, despite the fact that I knew that they were now Made in China. I assumed that the Stanley company wouldn't put their name on a lesser product. I was totally mistaken. It leaked and did not keep food warm, even for 4 hours. I exchanged it for another one, that also leaked just as badly despite my screwing the lid on as tight as possible. At that point, I did not test it's ability to keep food warm, why would it matter if it all just ends up in the bottom of your bag anyway?
Poorly Made. Shady Warranty!,

Do not Buy! This product comes with a cheap half metal half plastic spoon. The spoon cracked from falling from my hand to the sink. Probably a 1 foot distance. It says that it has a lifetime warranty but after calling they said the spoon was not covered.
After 3 or 4 different phone calls I found out that this isn't even manufactured by Stanley and they would not handle it themselves. Instead it is made by an Aladdin Industries and just puts Stanley on the front. In other words there is no ownership of quality. Stanley is just leasing their name to other manufacturers.
