Summary: My "use-again travelling tea pot"! 2010-07-27
Comment: I bought this specifically for a road trip, and was thrilled with the performance. I was able to steep my tea, pour it right into my favorite travel mug, and then just put the lid on the Teas Etc mug to save the leaves for future steepings down the road. Its got a great seal on both of the lids, even when its not squeaky clean. I'm more of a tea pot person on most days, but its been great for the times when I'm running short on time but still want to leave the house with some tea. The only downside is that the filter is a little big so its not the best for rooibos. I'm really happy with my purchase. Any tea lover would love this mug, even if they already have a variety of other steeping methods as I do!

Summary: No more tea bags 2010-07-16
Comment: This is a great, very high quality product. I received the tea travel mug as a father's day present a few weeks ago. I was amazed at it's insulating qualities. After filling with tea and hot water, plus a dash of agave syrup, it was still cool enough to hold in your hand comfortably. Very convenient, and should last a very long time. I love it!

Summary: Really nice... 2010-02-16
Comment: For the last few months I have gotten back in to tea and have almost stopped drinking coffee. One of the nice parts of it is loose leaf tea and how the selection is almost endless and the tea is so much better that bagged. This brings me up to almost a month ago...
I set out to find a great travel mug for tea with the main purpose being to take to work; my commute is one hour each way. I purchased another mug with screen, and while it was the ideal size for me (10 ounces) and price ($12.00), the screen just wouldn't filter out fine or semi fine loose teas. It worked great for large leafs, but the small ones would always get through.
Also, Starbucks had one for sale, but the inside was make of clay... novel idea and the mug was heavy and really nice looking, but the clay was a big turn off. Clay will absorb the flavors of the tea, so if you like to switch teas the darker heavier flavors will deter from the lighter teas.
This brings me up to the Teas Etc travel mug. From what I could see and with the reviews this mug seemed ideal, a little big, but no problem really. The biggest down side is the price, I'm sorry, but $19.95 for a travel tea mug is expensive. I must emphasize that this is a review for the product, not the price, so that's why it's five stars. Anyway, I bought this mug and had high expectations and the mug has surpassed all of them. The mug will clean out the taste and smells of all teas (black, white...) there is no smell of plastic when cleaned, the screen really does filter out all tea particles, if making a tea bag just leave the middle section out and use the top as normal, easy to clean, looks nice, nice weight and finally, lets me drink loose tea without worrying about spillage/leakage or making a mess.
Highly recommended and worth the price.

Summary: Perfect for tea on the go - or at home! 2010-02-12
Comment: My friend and I each ordered a mug and we bought one for a gift for another friend. We met for breakfast at McD's this morning and brought our brand new mugs with some tea leaves. We asked for some hot water and the server was intrigued by our mugs! She even wrote down the name of it so she could look it up when she got home. So, right away our new mug was getting attention and we hadn't even drank from them yet. We went back to our seats and started to steep our tea. The whole experience was enjoyable. Watching the tea leaves float around, the water turn a lovely color, and best of all the taste of the tea itself. The mug was cool to the touch, and the tea never was bitter (from over steeping, etc.). This was a great experience for tea on the go, but I do think that I will find myself drinking tea at home more often, as it is just so convenient (and pretty)! This is definitely a must for tea-lovers. PS - be sure to watch the video review by Teas Etc.

Summary: Great Product 2010-02-12
Comment: I received my mug yesterday. I've already put it to good use. It's easy to use. Very few to no tea leafs get through the filter. The lid keeps it from spilling in my vehicle or on my desk. I'm considering purchasing a few more as gifts for my fellow tea lovers.
