Great mug, poor handle,

Excellent mug, keeps drink hot or cold for a long time, but the handle will break loose eventually. You can repair it for a while with JB Weld but that seal will also fail over time. Bought two of these mugs at the same time and both handles came off within a month of each other. Great idea, poor execution.

This would otherwise be a good product, except for two things. The handle has 3 spot welds on it, and one of them was already separated - you could see light underneath it where the weld was supposed to be. Now, the upper 2 welds "rock" every time you use the handle, and it's long-term integrity is doubtful. (Kind of like bending a spoon, where after so many times it finally breaks).

The depressions are asymmetric and do not look man-made or intentional. Every time I look at this mug, I think it's damaged. Thermos has an outstanding reputation, and that's what make this annoying. The handle attachment looks mickey-mouse at best. Without these 2 annoyances, it would be a great product.
Update:
After using this for a bit now, I have to reduce this product to a 1 star. Within a few days, the welded handle simply...Read more

Lasted about a year,

Mine lasted about a year before the handle fell off, causing it to fall and break the seal keeping it insulated. Also, the lid isn't very secure, and at least once a week I had it pop off while drinking. And the funky dent in the sides always caused people to ask if I'd dropped and broken it.
