We bought the Thermos Fairy Funtainer for our five year old and so far it's fantastic. It keeps hot chocolate steaming hot for at least four hours. I haven't tested it for ice cream yet, but I plan to. Very nice size, shape and style. Good work Thermos.

I bought this Thermos Funtainer for my kid's lunch box. It keeps the food hot for 4-5 hours. Key is to pack the food when it is piping hot so by the time it is noon my kid can have warm lunch but if the kids are going to eat in an hour or so then beware the food will be hot if you pack it that way! I wish it was in a different shape and also size - meaning I have difficulty when I have to pack a sandwich etc. Circular or Square shape with more room would have been fantastic!

I needed something that would keep my girls' lunch warm while they are at school but something small enough to fit in a Rubbermaid 5-Quart cooler. This food jar is the perfect solution. My girls can enjoy a warm meal at lunch time and they absolutely love how it looks. It looks very well constructed to stand up against the rigors of everyday use. I would definitely recommend this item.
