Thermos Intak 18-Ounce Hydration Bottle, Pink

Comment: I bought one of these for my older son (4.5 yrs.) but the younger one (18 mos.) decided he liked this kind better than his sippy cup so I found a second one for him here on Amazon. These bottles have a nice shape, water comes out at a good rate, and there is no plastic after-taste. We all like using them (parents, too)!

Update: I saw some of the reviews warning of the geyser effect. I can say that this happened to us once, on an airplane. So yes, be prepared. But it's still a favorite at our house.

Comment: I bought this water bottle at a local store, then came to Amazon to order more because I like it so much. I like being able to see what's inside the bottle, the wide mouth is great for ice and for cleaning, and the straw makes drinking (and closing) so easy.

I've been using the first one I bought for over a month, in hot cars, air-conditioned buildings, outside, going back and forth between those environments -- I've never had a leak or least amount of spillage, much less a geyser.

Comment: I bought this (in pink) as my daughter's main school and gymnastics water bottle last year. It was the last in a succession of failed water bottles that broke in one way or another. This one has stayed with her throughout the school year, followed her to many a gymnastics workout, and has so far survived the first month of summer camp where it has been put through untold amounts of violence and bears the scars without hindrance to its function. I am impressed.

Comment: I love this little water bottle, esp the straw. I don't take it to the gym, it's just for the office. I have not experienced the geyser effect everyone is speaking of and I've knocked it over a couple of times without experiencing any spillage.

Comment: I've experienced the geyser effect described by others with this bottle and frankly it's charming! The bottle is so great in most ways that it seems sad to let a minor flaw like water shooting into your face ruin the experience. As long as you don't use the bottle in the car, near sensitive electronic devices, or at work it's no problem at all.

And the rest of the time it's like having your own personal "Old Faithful!"
