Follow up comment: 7/25/09 - The only problem I have been experiencing with this bottle is that the silicone lining inside the top-cap, which is supposed to create a water-tight seal, starts to smell after a couple of days of use. It's not that big of a deal. But you will need to wash the cap in soap every other day or so to get rid of the smell.
I own this one as well as the 18 Oz pop-cap type Thermos. I love them both. But I use the 26 Oz bottle most of the time because I don't have to refill so often. I use it at home and while playing tennis outside or at the club. It's summer now and I love using all the time. The loop attaching the cap to bottle is removable and got rid of the loop on day 1. It's much more convenient without it. These are the things I like about this thermos:
1. This one does the job very well - keeps the water at the same temperature for several hours.

Good Water Bottle,

This holds about 3 cups of water. I add 7-8 ice cubes and the water stays cold all day long. The cover twists off from the stainless steel part and the drinking cap can't get lost because it is attached to the cover. Easy to clean, although a bit heavy. I like this because I can chug my water down without using a sip straw which sometimes can get clogged. If you drink alot of water, this is a good product.

I bought this product because I was tired of getting my bag wet from condensation with my Camelbak water bottle, which left rings and puddles on my work desk. Plus, I was annoyed with having to time my visit to the cafeteria everyday before it closed to refresh my ice. I had tried every method to have cold water throughout the day, including freezing large amounts of water the night before in the Camelbak to get a slow melt the next day. The last straw was when I was intending to buy a neoprene sleeve for the Camelbak in the hopes of not getting my paperwork wet...and then my (now genius) husband suggested I look at the Thermos line.
This one is leakproof, does not leave rings and puddles, and does not sweat all over my bag - goodbye, sloppy, wet mess! The top can be screwed off to make filling with ice easier. I fill the Thermos to the top with ice and water at night, with confidence the ice will still be there 24 hours later. I even had to pour hot water into the Thermos...Read more
