Comment: I have bought about 5 or 6 of these mugs. Not because they broke, but because I am one of those people that brings my coffee with me everywhere and I have left a few mugs behind and never seem to get them back.

This mug keeps your hot drink hot for about 3 to 4 hours. It works great at work. Because I'm usually so busy, I drink my coffee very slowly. This mug is so much better than using one of those little warmers, as they cook your coffee till its burnt.

Great product! I've also bought this mug as gifts for the coffee lovers in my life. Everyone I've given it to loves it too.

Comment: 57 is not in reference to "varieties" of the Heinz's name. It is how old I am. I have had more than a hundred of those type of mugs...hot coffee to go on the road...up the tree...in the backyard...to the football game...wherever.
The product review mentioned somewhere that it is 'vacuum' insulated. It is not vacuum insulated, but still, the stainless steel does give you your money's worth and its heat detention is still good.
What made me fell in love with this particular mug? One day, I realized the advantage of the trip or release lever. I am walking to my car (or to my front door or any other situations) and, with my hands being full, couldn't reach for the keys in my pocket. Instead of trying to be a contortionist (I saw one at a circus many many moons ago and, NO, never ran away to join the circus), I suddenly realized all I had to do was to use the lever as a hook...hung it on the edge of my front pocket...ahh, life is good...! Hung it on my food shopping bags...hung it on top of my locker at work...hung it on my door handles...and so on...this is in addition to all the other benefits espoused by other reviewers.
I have been using this for nigh a decade...I have refused to touch any other travel mugs...this is the best...

Comment: I've owned three of these. Simply stated: this the best travel mug ever made. What else is there to say. I hope they continue to make them.

Comment: This mug is great. It does just as it claims: it keeps hot drinks hot and cold ones cold, even without the recommended pre-heat/pre-cool. It works even better when you do those, though. I can make my morning cup of tea last until lunch now.
The construction is a lot tougher than your typical travel mug, too. And the ingenius lever makes it really easy to take a sip in the car without the hassle of opening and closing the lid. It's positioned to line up with the way you would naturally grab the mug anyway. This design is very well thought through from top to bottom.
The one thing just a few car owners might have a problem with is finding space for the handle. The handle is not overly large. But if your cupholders are in really tight spots, I could see someone having a problem fitting it in there. But I think at worst, it would probably just hold the mouth hole open. And then it's in the cupholder anyway, so it's not like it's going to spill.

Comment: I adore this travel mug so much that I have purchased 6 since I received my first as a gift many years ago. I always have 2 in rotation and keep at least one back-up in storage in case of emergency. My favorite aspects are: a virtually spill-free lid, excellent heat retention, sleek design, easy to carry, easy to use. I am almost always carrying too much and juggling bags, umbrellas, laptop, etc. on the way into the office - I can easily hook the lever of this mug over the edge of my tote bag, and it just stays there perfectly perched to free up one of my hands. I have dropped my mugs, and they rarely spill any more than a few drops, they don't crack, and they haven't dented. I agree with some other reviews in that it's a bit tricky to clean thoroughly, but it just requires a little extra effort and some very hot water. Overall, this little morning coffee friend is a winner!
