The good news is that this thermos has the best insulation I have ever seen. I've left ice water in it in the car for a couple of hours and the ice was still there when I came back. I bought two of these since I liked them so much.
The bad news is that they don't last. In both of the units I bought, after a couple of months, the button breaks off and the lid can't be closed, so they end up in the trash. Both of them, same problem after the same amount of time.
Too bad because they really keep things cold for a long time.
3/4/2012 Update to my review.
As a result of my reviews and problems with this product, I was contacted by Thermos management about getting replacement units. This is the first time I've ever heard of a company being proactive and contacting me because of a review I wrote and wanting to make things right. Five stars to the Thermos Company for their outstanding customer service, while most...Read more

Use this all the time because it can roll all around my car and not leak. Very easy to use while driving and working out. Fits into my tiny mug holder in my car too.
If you want a thermos,

If you want a thermos, this thermos has my approval. It keeps liquids warm if they are warm, and cool if they are cool, as you would expect.
There is one caveat to my recommendation, however: its build quality is just not up to the caliber of those of my parents old large aluminum thermos. The lid piece is plastic, and held together with a plastic hinge. This plastic hinge is relatively easy to break, and did break on one of the two of these units that my family owns. It was hit awkwardly so this should not be an issue for most users, but it is indicative of a larger build quality issue- these fancier looking, smaller containers are necessarily more fragile. That isn't so much a design problem as it is a design decision to decrease the form factor.
If you are looking for a thermos of this size, this is a thermos of this size. There isn't much to say besides it isn't a lemon.
