This thing is AWESOME!!!!! I use my Food Jar all the time and it keeps things extremely hot for hours. Very early in the morning (4:30 or 5:00 am) I heat water in my tea kettle and pour it into the Food Jar while I am preparing my lunch. Dump the water, add the heated food, and my lunch is too hot to eat @ 1:00 or 1:30pm. I can't imagine living without this product. I like it so much, I have bought one for everyone in my household. You won't regret this purchase!

be able to hot for 5 hours, haven't tested how it works when store cool food. however, still little bit small for an adult. wanna buy it as lunchbox, but can only be used as breakfast jar due to the size. anyway, still worth buying.

I did some experiment: I poured just boiled water in to this thermos at 8 pm. I check it after 4-5 hours - still extremly hot. Checked it again at 10 am still hot, then again at 3 pm an water was still pretty warm. I don't know how it will work with food instead of water as I didn't need to use it yet and I don't expect 20 hours efficiency but that's not what Thermos advertise - 7 hours for sure :)
