5.0 out of 5 stars The best can "cozy" on the market. Period., January 18, 2007

I was on the lookout for a neat little stocking stuffer for my boyfriend, who is an avid canned beer drinker. I have all these ugly little freebie foam cozies in various stages of falling apart, so I suppose I had an ulterior motive.

I did a little research on the internet and found an interesting website by a group of presumably college-aged guys - they had done actual experiments using different forms of cozies and measured the temperatures after various times out at room temperature.

The "thermos" branded can insulator scored far and away the best. So I thought, why not? It looks a heckuva lot better than those stupid foam ones (with stupid sayings, like "life's a beach" or "MetalCon 2005"). I ordered two, one for him and one for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for hot days, June 10, 2008

Yea, well I took mine to Iraq! I bought the Thermos Can Insulator a few years earlier and liked it around the house and on the deck. When I was packing for Iraq, I thought I'd take it just in case and it also made a solid packing container for little stuff for the trip.

130 degree days but the cans were still cold and they stayed that way no matter if I was in the shade, the sun or on missions.

The old adage "you get what you pay for" is so very true in this case. If you like your can drink to stay cold for up to 2 hours this is the hugger mugger for you. Nothing else I have ever tried compares. Yes it is expensive (refer back to sentence #1). For the best results keep in the fridge or freezer.
