It's PHENOMENAL!,

As I tend to "nurse" a cup of tea at the office for a while, I decided to purchase this product this after looking around for a GOOD desktop electric mug warmer to use with a standard ceramic mug. Such a product just doesn't seem to exist; check the Amazon customer ratings. I had one a number of years ago, and it was lousy (had hoped that someone had built a better mousetrap, but no one has!)
I purchased this mug just about a month ago. It's so good, I had to share the secret, and even if an improved electric warmer DID exist, I don't think I'd bother with its cord and risks given how good this is. I'm sorry to see, though, that it's no longer available through Amazon (perhaps elsewhere on the Web?).
I can make a mug of tea (a generous 20 oz) around 10a.m., and even by mid to late afternoon, 4 or 5p.m., it's still warm enough to enjoy. And that's after leaving the top off for the first half hour or so to let it cool enough to drink! Indeed, if there's a...Read more

NOT 20 oz, 16 oz Mug,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was excited when I tested the ability of this mug to keep my coffee hot, against my favorite (now broken) 20 oz Nissan mug. It keeps the coffee hot for a good two hours then starts to decrease the temp and at 3 hours the coffee is warm not hot. But when I tried to put the contents of my favorite 20 oz mug into this mug, I was surprised (and disappointed) to see it didn't hold the contents, so I measured the amount of fluid that fits inside this mug, leaving just enough room to put on the lid. I was shocked, disappointed and upset to see that it only holds 16 ounces. You can't even squeeze 17 oz with the top on or is leaks all over. I'd already tossed out the box or I'd have sent this back on principle. I have a good 16 oz mug and I was looking for a 20 ozer to take the place of the one I just broke (the plastic top, the rim you drink from). If you don't mind the 16 oz, it's OK. The handle is comfortable, but not as thick or sturdy as my Nissan. The opening is wide and easy to clean...Read more

My favourite mug!,

This is a great product. The insulation keeps the outside of the mug cool to the touch, and keeps the contents hot for hours; I made tea at 7:00, and the last sip was still quite warm at 10:30. The lid seals completely, yet still goes on and off very easily. The only drawback is that I can't put in in the dishwasher, but I can live with that with all of the advantages!
