Nice Travel mug,

This is a nice mug, good looking, made well, does hold 20 oz., but it does not keep my mocha hot much longer than a paper cup. The mug gets warm on the outside, which means it is cooling. I have an old mug (I think it is a Thermous brand) it stays cool on the outside, and stays hot for a long time, but does not fit cup holders. Overall this is an ok mug for the money.

I have not experienced any of the negative aspects as described by other reviewers, and suspect they either received a defective item, or are accidentally reviewing the WRONG item.
1.) It DOES hold 20oz, total, up to the line where the cap fits down inside the mug.
2.) It DOES keep beverage hot for a good 90 minutes or more (I don't store my drink longer than that before I've finished drinking it) if you pre-warm it with hot water (if I'm in a rush in the morning and don't make coffee at home, I even put hot water in it at home, then take it to the local coffee shop to get it filled.)
3.) It DOES NOT feel overly warm on the outside, indicating heat-transfer/heat loss. I have not yet tried it for cold beverages, only hot coffee, and I'm perfectly happy with it for that purpose.
4.) It fits all the cup holders in my car, being careful to turn the mug to the proper position in the holder so that the handle doesn't unbalance it.

I'm a simple girl who likes just about 20 ounces of coffee a day. Since nearly every travel mug is 16 ounces, this always leaves me feeling a little sad. I had a 20 ounce travel mug that was plastic, but after getting left closed in a car over a weekend once, it's retained a nasty taste ever since that no amount of bleach could overcome. Enter the Timolino! Metal cup inside and out, silicone gasket, and a handle that let's it fit in a car cupholder. Win Win Win! I'm sending my other travel mugs to Goodwill and getting another Timolino. It's perfect for me.
