This oversized mug is black and pretty, but the ceramics of it are a little weak. It is certainly not comparable to the material used to construct the Death Star. I don't know if it was a Jedi Mind Trick that was played on the workers at the factory at Chao Zhou, China to use a lighter ceramic (yes the mug states that it is not only made in China, but made in Chaozhou, China), which is more prone to chipping and ultimately can lead to the complete and utter destruction of the Dark Side that this mug represents (holla), or if Darth Vader decided to have it made lighter because of the extreme volume of beverage it can hold to help reduce coffee elbow. All I know is that my oversized "Mug of Tea" that I bought locally took a spill off the top of my car roof onto the paved roadway as I slowed down for a stop sign, bounced across the intersection, and came to final rest on its side in the middle of street, and did not even have a scratch on it, let alone a chip. This cup is monstrous, and will hold enough coffee to make Jabba happy.. You can get 20 oz. of liquid in this cup so be aware. I had this for my work cup, but I was getting dirty looks as everyone was using the little 10-12 cups and I was draining half the pot. HELLO Dark Lord of the Sith anyone... They will learn the power of the dark side...

Seriously decent price for a licensed novelty mug, shipped fast and the cup is high quality. What more can you want?

Never EVER buy one of these things because once somebody who has the same love of STAR WARS that you do sees you using it they are going to either want to borrow it or use it when you're not looking so save yourself the heartache and order 2 of them .
