I bought 2 of these mugs. Can't tell you when this happened, but one day I heated up my coffee, reached into the microwave and OUCH!!! The handle was so hot, I couldn't pull the mug out. I've used a low-wattage, as well as a high-wattage oven, and the same thing took place. Now, my son uses them for cold drinks. They are useless to me.
